The strategy is based on the traditional game of ROCK, PAPER and SCISSORS and adapted to Angry Birds License. The Rock wins the Slingshot by breaking it, the slingshot wins the TNT by a remote explosion and the TNT wins the Rock by breaking it with an explosion.
The objective is to win all the AB trading cards from your opponent. The players start by randomly selecting an equal number of cards to make their own pile.
The length of the game depends on the number of AB trading cards that is chosen for the opening piles, which needs to be the same for both players.
The players usually count aloud to three, or shout the name of the game (e.g. "Angry Birds"). On the third count (saying, "Shoot!" or "Go!"), the players draw the card on top of the pile and show this to their opponent.
The following outcomes are possible:
< TNT (Dynamite): wins from rock
< Rock: wins from sling shot < Sling Shot: wins from TNT < Silver cards win from regular cards < Golden Eggs: Gold cards win from regular cards and silver cards
If both players draw the same card, the game is tied and the players draw another card. The one that wins that round also wins the previous cards from the tie. The player that wins all the AB trading cards, is the winner of the game.
